‘Girl Meets World’ Reunion: Sabrina Carpenter, Danielle Fishel Attend Harry Styles Concert
This is what happens when “Girl Meets World” meets Harry Styles.
Styles kicked off his tour in San Francisco on Tuesday before making his way to his second stop at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Former “Girl Meets World” costars Danielle Fishel and Sabrina Carpenter decided to have a little reunion and go to the concert together, along with Carpenter’s sister, Sarah, and Fishel’s producer boyfriend, Jensen Karp .
“@jensenclan88 and I took our children @sabrinacarpenter and @saricarpenter to see a talented young man named @harrystyles. We are hip and cool parents. Swipe to see pics.”
Of course, these two are obviously not their real parents and it’s a joke. Fishel didn’t play Sabrina’s mom on “Girl Meets World” either, though she did play a sort of surrogate mother for her character on the Disney Channel series.
Fishel, who starred in the original “Boy Meets World,” revived her character Topanga Matthews and was the mom of Riley (Rowan Blanchard), who was best friends with Sabrina’s Maya Hart. While the show was sadly canceled and ended earlier this year, the whole cast has continued to stay close, including these two.
Clearly, since going to a Harry Styles concert together is no small thing. It’s no wonder Fishel wasn’t the only one who took to social media after the concert to share what a great experience it was.
Sabrina also posted to Instagram about the concert, but instead of a photo of her and those she was attending with, it was a video of Styles performing his song “Woman” at the event.
While her sister, Sarah, also posted a video of Styles singing, but this time he was performing his song “Ever Since New York.”
Between the four of them, it was quite a nice collection of content from the concert since the Carpenters posted performance videos, while Fishel posted group photos and Karp also posted a couple photos, too.
While the two photos he put up of the event were the same as some of the one’s Fishel had, his captions were different. His group shot had a similar caption to that of his girlfriend’s, saying, “Took the kids to see @harrystyles tonight,” but his Style performance shot had quite the story.
“I enjoyed young Harry's concert as I am a huge fan of his album, but I can't get one thing out of my head,” Karp wrote. “There was a 50 year old dad near me, with his 15 year old daughter. He was wearing a shirt that in the front said ‘Stay away from my daughter,’ which was kinda funny and endearing. Then he turned around and I realized it said, on the back, ‘unless you're Harry Styles...’ I'll never get this out of my head.”
All of these photos and videos are more than enough evidence that this crew had an amazing time at the concert and that Styles’ tour is one people definitely shouldn’t miss out on.
But these photos also remind everyone of something else, which is how sad it is that “Girl Meets World” is over and how great it would be to have it back.
