Gisele Bundchen Purchases $1.25 Million House In Florida Months Before Tom Brady Divorce: Report

Gisele Bundchen bought a new home before her divorce from now ex-husband Tom Brady.

Bundchen, 42, and Brady, 45, announced that they finalized their divorce Friday after months of speculations that they had been living separately amid their marital crisis. Interestingly, the Brazilian supermodel already had a new place to call home as early as February, months before they separated, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Bundchen purchased an Art Deco-style cottage for $1.25 million on Feb. 28. Her 1,540 square feet new home in Florida has three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and an open-concept floor plan with an oversized marble waterfall island in the kitchen and double sinks in its spacious primary bathroom.

In September, an anonymous source told Us Weekly that she left their family home in Florida amid their fight following his decision to unretire. Since then, the former celebrity couple have been living separately.

"Tom and Gisele are still not seeing eye to eye regarding his retirement," the insider said. "They are currently living in separate houses but continue to communicate."

Bundchen and Brady, who tied the knot in 2009, finalized their divorce Friday, weeks after both reportedly hired divorce attorneys.

"Gisele and Tom worked on the terms of their settlement with a mediator," a source told ET after news of the split broke. "It has all been worked out, and they agreed to joint custody of their children."

Both released a statement about their "amicable" decision to divorce on their social media accounts. Brady and Bundchen were committed to co-parenting their two children, son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is also a dad to 15-year-old Jack, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

"We arrived at this decision amicably with gratitude for the time we spent together," Brady wrote in part. "We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve."

"My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart," Bündchen said in her statement before adding, "The decision to end a marriage is never easy, but we have grown apart."

The kids spent the Halloween weekend with their dad. They were photographed trick-or-treating in Tampa Bay. Bundchen and Jack were noticeably missing.
