Gisele Bündchen-Tom Brady Update: Divorce Rumors Put On Backburner As Model Supports Husband During NFL Kickoff

What divorce drama? Despite the split rumors surrounding Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady, the 35-year-old model made sure to show her support publicly for her New England Patriots quarterback husband Thursday night.

Brady lead the New England Patriots on Sept. 10 in the NFL Kickoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The Patriots won the game, beating the Steelers 28 – 21. Bündchen was on hand at Gillette Stadium to cheer on her husband and his team throughout the night.

According to People magazine, Bündchen was watching the game in Brady’s club-level suite. She wore a New England Patriots jersey with her husband’s name and number on it while clapping and cheering.

“If something is wrong with their marriage, you wouldn’t know it,” a source told the outlet. “She seemed really happy.”

Rumors of divorce began swirling in August. The couple, who wed on Feb. 26, 2009, reportedly began to fight in May over Brady’s involvement in the “Deflategate” scandal. An insider dished that the 38-year-old quarterback’s focus on his career leaves Bündchen feelings “left out.” Speculation about the split spiked when Brady’s wife was noticeably absent from his court hearing, as well as the Patriot’s Aug. 14 preseason game. In early September there were reports that Bündchen even threatened divorce.

However, Tom Brady has been adamant that his relationship with his wife is on solid ground.

“We’re in a great place,” he told WEEI-FM (via Us Weekly). “I’ll just say that.”
