‘Glee’ Season 6 Spoilers: Quinn And Puck Return For Final Season And Rachel Prepares To Sing ‘Popular’ Disney Song In Premiere Episode
“Glee” Season 6 is finally tackling one artist they’ve never sung before: Disney. In the final 13 episodes, Lea Michele will be belting the Disney number, but she didn’t want to say which song they were covering. "I was there last night singing the first Disney song we've ever done," Michele told E Online. "A very popular Disney song."
Obviously, the “Frozen” song “Let It Go” has been highly popular, and “Glee” always likes to cover some of the biggest songs. The musical comedy is definitely covering the Idina Menzel song, MJsBigBlog reported. So what is Rachel Berry letting go of? Hopefully, she’ll let go of high school, but that doesn’t seem likely.
As previously reported, the college dropout will return to Ohio after her pilot fails. She’ll be using the last of her money from the show to revive New Directions. She won’t be letting the new students sing too much though. In typical Rachel fashion, she’ll hog the spotlight while dealing with rejection. She’ll be singing “Uninvited” by Alanis Morissette, “Karma Chameleon” by Culture Club and “Suddenly Seymour” from “Little Shop of Horrors” with Blaine, MJsBigBlog reported. Blaine will also be singing Ed Sheeran’s “Sing” with the Warblers, and Vocal Adrenaline will be performing “Dance the Night Away” by Van Halen.
Rachel might have most of the solos in the “Glee” Season 6 premiere, but expect plenty of other cast members to sing. Many original cast members will be returning to the show throughout the season. Producer Alex Anders tweeted about Dianna Agron’s return to the show as Quinn Fabray. Agron only appeared in two Season 5 episodes.
No word on what Quinn will be singing, but Puck might be joining her. Mark Salling is also set to return and tweeted a photo of them together on set.
Kurt, Tina, Santana, Brittany, Artie, Sam and Mercedes are also expected to return to Ohio in episode 2. All of the “Glee” characters are coming back to McKinley High for Homecoming, Gleek Out Brasil reported.
“Glee” Season 6 will return in 2015. Which returning character do you hope has a solo? Sound off in the comments section below.
