Throughout the God of War franchise, protagonist Kratos has certainly had his share of kills. With a game so centered on the theme of vengeance, Kratos has taken the lives of many soldiers, gods, titans, animals, and civilians alike. Soon players will be getting a glimpse of Kratos' life before he became a god, and the story of his rise is sure to include just as many Olympian deaths.

God of War: Ascension will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 3, and is said to be a prequel to the original release. The trailer was revealed yesterday in April 19^th, and the PlayStation official blog teased at another announcement coming at the end of the month. This is possibly the release date, but fans will have to wait until April 30^th to know for sure.
