The 2019 Golden Globes airs live on NBC tonight, and the show will be hosted for the first time by Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg.

After presenting together at last year’s Emmy Awards, the two are getting ready for this new gig of theirs. They both have some award show hosting experience, though. The “SNL” alum most recently hosted the Emmys, while the former “Grey’s Anatomy” actress previously hosted the Genie Awards in 2008.

Aside from hosting this year’s Golden Globes, Oh’s also nominated for the award of Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama for her role in “Killing Eve.”

What else is there to know about the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards co-hosts? Here are some fun facts about both of the stars:

Sandra Oh

1. She earned a journalism scholarship to Carleton University but turned it down to attend the National Theatre School of Canada to study drama.

2. She took ballet classes growing up and started when she was four years old.

3. Oh speaks fluent Korean and French.

4. Her first acting role was in her school’s production of “The Canada Goose.”

5. She was in her high school’s comedy troupe, Skit Row High, and competed in the Ottawa Improv Games with them.

6. Oh moved to Hollywood when she was about 25 years old.

7. She’s won at both the Golden Globe Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards for her portrayal of Cristina Yang in “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Andy Samberg

1. His given first name is David.

2. His dad’s a photographer and his mom’s an elementary school teacher.

3. He’s won a Golden Globe Award, American Comedy Award and Poppy Award for his acting in “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”

4. Samberg attended University of California, Santa Cruz for a couple years and then decided to switch to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts to finish out his schooling.

5. He hosted the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, the 28th Independent Spirit Awards in 2013 and the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2015.

6. The comedian joined “Saturday Night Live” in 2005 and has been in almost 150 episodes.

7. He won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2007 for his original music and lyrics on “SNL.”
