Google Nexus 5 (2013) Flash Sale: Costs Only $210 On Newegg
The Google Nexus 5, the handset that was released in 2013 is now available on flash sale on Newegg. The 32 GB variant of the unlocked handset is available with a price tag of $209.
In this year, Google has released an upgraded version of the Nexus 5 called the Nexus 5X. The 16 GB and 32 GB models are now available for purchase for $379 and $429, respectively. However, the predecessor model is still quite popular and said to be one of the best Nexus smartphones ever since it carries cheaper price tag and attractive specs.
The Google Nexus 5 features a 4.95-inch IPS display that supports a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels along with a pixel density of 445 ppi. It is shielded by Gorilla Glass 3.
The handset is powered by Snapdragon 800 chipset that features 2.3 GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 330 graphics. It is the same chip that drives other older and popular phones like the Sony Xperia Z1, the HTC One M7, the Lumia 1520, and more. The SoC present on the Nexus 5 is supported by 2 GB of RAM.
The LG Nexus 5 lacks a microSD card slot but comes in two internal storage variants of 16 GB and 32 GB. It features a rear camera of 8-megapixel that comes with features like OIS and LED flash. It features a front-facing camera of 1.3-megapixel. It is one of the first handsets to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
It offers multiple connectivity features like microUSB v2.0, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G. The handset is equipped with wireless charging for its 2,300 mAh battery.
Newegg is running a flash sale that allows customers to avail the 32 GB variant for a very low price of $209.99. Both black and white color variants of the handset are available for purchase on Newegg. The model number of the unlocked handset is LG-D820 and it only supports AT&T and T-Mobile networks, Phandroid reported.
