Grammys 2016: Beyoncé Makes Surprise Entry, Wears Sheer White Gown
Beyoncé made an appearance at the Grammys 2016 as a presenter but did not walk down the red carpet. However, the “Formation” singer stunned in a sheer and lace white gown at the 58th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles Monday. The 34-year-old singer attended the ceremony to present the night’s biggest honor, record of the year, to Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson for “Uptown Funk.”
The “Crazy In Love” hitmaker was a last-minute addition to the presenters list as her name was announced mid-show before a commercial break. But, Billboard magazine hinted at the appearance at the Grammys when the star’s ultra-private dressing room was teased on the publication’s Instagram on Saturday.
Though Beyoncé did not walk the red carpet, she made a grand entry in a white sheer and lace gown. The gown featured long sleeves with tulle insets at the collar and cuffs, plus two twin slits inset with the same sheer material. Her flared skirt featured a flowing, floor-sweeping train.
It seemed to be a wedding dress from designer Inbal Dror's 2016 collection. The bridal wear designer's official Instagram account has shared a few pictures of Queen Bey wearing their new gown.
She matched her outfit with silver strappy high heels. Queen Bey accessorized with a pair of brown triangle earrings by Lorraine Schwartz and also accented her ensemble with a matching ring and a pair of blackened lapel brooches also by Schwartz. The 20-time Grammy winner wore her blonde hair in a slicked back low bun.
The mother-of-one stuck with neutral make-up. She kept her make-up look soft with shimmering smoky eyes and wore frosty nude lipgloss. Though she did not perform or win a Grammy this year, Beyoncé is having a great year.
She performed at the Super Bowl Half-Time show along with Coldplay and Bruno Mars. The same weekend before Super Bowl, she released her new album “Formation.” After the show, the wife of rapper Jay Z announced that she will begin her 40-stop world tour from Miami, Florida on April 27.
