Grammys 2023: Michelle Branch, Patrick Carney Walk Red Carpet Together Months After Suspending Divorce

Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney seem to have rekindled their relationship perfectly well. The pair walked the 2023 Grammy Awards red carpet together Sunday, just months after calling off their divorce.

The "Game of Love" singer and the Black Keys drummer wore all-black ensembles on the red carpet. Branch rocked a long maxi dress with a pair of sunglasses while her rockstar husband donned a leather jacket, black pants and a pair of dark sunglasses.

Carney's band was nominated for two trophies at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards for its 11th studio album "Dropout Boogie." However, it lost the Best Rock Album award to Ozzy Osbourne and the Best Rock Performance award to Brandi Carlile.

Branch and Carney nearly parted ways after the "Are You Happy Now?" singer was arrested for domestic assault on Aug. 11, 2022. A report from the Davidson County Sheriff's Office indicated that at the time that Branch slapped Carney at their home in Nashville, according to People. Moreover, Branch supposedly admitted to slapping Carney "one to two times" in the face, as per court documents obtained by E! News.

Before the incident, Branch tweeted and then deleted a note where she claimed that Carney cheated on her while she was at home with their baby. She also announced their separation after three years of marriage.

Tennessee authorities dismissed the case against Branch later in the month. In September of the same year, the couple decided to suspend their divorce proceedings for six months and vowed to work on their marriage.

Branch and Carney share two kids together: Rhys, 4, and Willie Jacquet, 1. Branch is also mother to 17-year-old Owen, whom she shares with ex-husband Teddy Landau.

The musicians met in 2015 while Carney was producing Branch's album "Hopeless Romantic." Carney proposed to the "All You Wanted" singer on her birthday in 2017, and they got married at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans in 2019.

In October 2022, the couple seemed to have patched things up and were spotted locking lips at a bar in Los Angeles. Witnesses saw Branch and Carney having a fun night — dancing and kissing each other while at Davey Wayne's bar — just a couple of months after the relationship drama.
