If you’re on the edge of your seat, you may want to scoot back a bit because this “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 10 finale news will surely knock you off your cushy chair and onto the hard floor. We have to admit, we’ve been preparing for this rumored traumatic finale for quite some time now. But it was only today that we learned the extent Shonda Rhimes went to to make episode 24, “Fear (of The Unknown),” the most chilling thing you’ve seen on TV to date.

Unlike the residents and surgeons of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, we were informed days ago that the finale would have something to do with a terrorist attack -- we just didn’t know all the five W’s: who, what, when, where or why. However, a few of those questions were answered when the hit ABC series released a revealing sneak-peek promo for the final episode of the season.

In 1-minute and 12-second clip, which you can watch here, we learned that April will finally open up to Owen about her pregnancy.

“Can I talk to you?” she asks the Chief of Surgery. “Privately. Do you have a minute to go into like a trauma room?”

“Spit it out, Kepner,” Owen replies clearly annoyed.

“I’m pregnant,” she blurts out. Owen looks shocked.

“I know it’s sudden and it’s soon,” she says unable to look him in the eye. “And I know it makes your life hell but I’ll work until it falls out of me. Kepners are built to have babies, sir, we drop them in fields.”

Before she reveals any more interesting facts of her Kepner heritage, Owen replies with a congratulatory remark.

“Kepner, I’m happy for you,” he puts his hand on her shoulder, embracing her warmly.

April looks relieved and begins quickly chatting away about how her pregnancy was a surprise. But Owen is barely able to pay attention when something on TV catches his eye.

“Turn that up,” he insists.

“We have breaking news right now of an enormous explosion. It happened only minutes ago at Seattle’s Mall of the Woods,” a reporter from KOYF announces. The news channel shows terrifying images of the mall releasing thick, black smoke from where the explosion occurred. “We are getting reports of massive fatalities and scores of people injured. Officials have not yet determined—”

That’s when Owen and April cut her off and begin shouting orders to employees to prepare the hospital for a massive flood of injured victims. As much as we wish we could hear the rest of the reporter’s sentence, we suppose it doesn’t matter who did this -- just that it did happen.

“… causing massive devastation,” we faintly hear the reporter say. “And of course the big concern right now and what we’re all wondering is: Is this an act of terrorism?”
