‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 13 Spoilers: What Will Happen In Episode 9? ‘You Haven’t Done Nothin’’ Synopsis, Photos Released
After a period of uncertainty, Alex is going to have to face the music on “Grey’s Anatomy.” The doctor has been in a period of waiting since being charged with assault for attacking DeLuca in Season 12.
According to a synopsis for Season 13, episode 9 — titled “You Haven’t Done Nothin’” — Alex (Justin Chambers) may face going to jail. At least, he thinks so. As such, he will make a major decision about his future. It is not clear what decision he will reach, but episode photos suggest it may affect Jo (Camilla Luddington) and others.
While Alex deals with his personal problems, Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital will be flooded with patients after a building collapse. Doctors from every corner of the hospital will scramble to care for those affected by the incident, but it seems Dr. Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk) may get in the way again. The synopsis states that amid the chaos, Richard (James Pickens Jr.) will confront Bailey (Chandra Wilson) about inviting her to temporarily oversee the staff.
Fans of “Grey’s Anatomy” will recall that Richard attempted to utilize Eliza’s ideology during Episode 8. He teamed up with Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) on a surgery for an unidentified man they believed had been hit by a car. Richard pushed the doctors to imagine vivid details about his life, hoping that humanizing him would help them to work harder.
Each of the doctors imagined him as a different person — Richard saw his mother, who died at a young age from cancer. Stephanie was visited by her younger self, who helped her to find her voice. Owen was taken back to the combat field, where he saw his dead sister. Meredith imagined the patient as her husband and received a visit from him while scrubbing out. While it seemed Richard was onboard with Eliza’s message, he may have a change of heart in Thursday’s episode.
