Adam Warlock is one of the big comic book characters who is expected to be introduced in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.” Director James Gunn has now teased that the character may not be a part of the movie.

One of the fans asked Gunn on Instagram Stories who he was casting for the role of Adam Warlock, We Got This Covered reported. In his reply, the director pointed out that he never said that the character will be introduced in his film.

Gunn had previously said that Adam Warlock will be in Marvel Cinematic Universe. The fans assumed that the character would appear in his next film. However, this new comment appears to confirm that the fans will have to wait for some time to see Adam on screen.

The script of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” is ready, and that means Gunn knows all the main characters who will be featured in it because he is the one who wrote the script. The director has so far not shared any hints about what the next big adventure of the heroes will be about, but he has revealed that it will conclude the arc of the main character Rocket (Voice by Bradley Cooper).

Gunn is currently busy with “The Suicide Squad,” but he may be getting ready to get back to his Marvel franchise soon. He recently shared a behind-the-scenes video of making the first “Guardians of the Galaxy” movie on Instagram.

While the fans wait for the third installment of the popular movie franchise, there are some exciting new Marvel comics planned. Nebula (Karen Gillan) is getting her own solo comic series, the director has announced.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” is set to be released in 2021. The exact release date may be revealed when the studio announces the start of production.
