Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly preparing to get married. According to a new report, the two are discussing taking their relationship to the next level. But there are apparently a few “obstacles” the two will have to overcome before they take the next step.

According to US Weekly, an insider has revealed that Stefani and Shelton “are on the path to getting married.” The two appear to be discussing what happens if they tie the knot, and one of the problems they have to overcome is their living arrangements.

Stefani lives with her three children, 12-year-old Kingston, 10-year old Zuma and 4-year old Apollo, in Los Angeles after her divorce from Gavin Rossdale. Shelton, on the other hand, has been traveling between Oklahoma and Los Angeles.

Once the two celebrities are able to iron out these details, they will reportedly be getting married, according to the insider. The talks about marriage also seem to be in the advanced stage. The source revealed that Stefani and Shelton met with the former’s priest for a counseling session on Feb. 9.

Last month, US Weekly reported that Stefani and Shelton will be announcing their engagement soon. An insider had claimed that they are preparing to get engaged, but the “Hollaback Girl” singer wants to take things slow for the children.

A source had claimed at the time that Shelton wanted to get married with Stefani, but the latter has been “extremely cautious” because she has three young kids to think about, especially after the children have seen her “messy” divorce from Rossdale in 2015.

However, a report by Gossip Cop, a site that debunks celebrity rumors, stated that Stefani and Shelton are not preparing to announce an engagement anytime soon. A spokesperson for Stefani confirmed at the time that she is not preparing to get engaged for now.

Stefani and Shelton are one of the most talked about celebrity couples at the moment. There has been a lot of anticipation from the fans regarding when they will announce their marriage. Stefani, however, has already said that she doesn’t feel any pressure to get engaged soon.
