Hailey Baldwin And Shawn Mendes Getting Serious After Justin Bieber Dating Rumors

While Hailey Baldwin and Shawn Mendes seem to be at the peak of their careers, it looks like their love lives are just heating up. Multiple sources have revealed that the stars have been dating for several weeks and seem to be taking their new romance very seriously.

“A few months ago they were sneaking out of public venues like Delilah while trying to not make a scene and now they have gone on private vacations to Europe. Their relationship has grown and they don't care if anyone sees them now,” a source told E! News.

However, when Baldwin and Mendes’ relationship began, the two were pretty laid back about the extent of the romance. “It started out casual as they would run into each other at parties and hangout, but most recently it’s become more serious,” the insider explained.

“They are definitely dating and spend a lot of time together,” the source added.

An insider told Us Weekly, that the pair spent time together over the weekend while attending the MTV Europe Music Awards.

“They were hanging out at Rita Ora’s afterparty, making out with each other and they went home together,” the source said.

As time has progressed, Baldwin and Mendes have become quite infatuated with one another. “Hailey is really into Shawn and thinks he is the nicest, sweetest guy. They meet up whenever they’re in the same city, FaceTime a lot and text each other several times a day,” an insider revealed.

Prior to getting close to Mendes, the model was romantically linked to Justin Bieber. During their brief romance in early 2016, Baldwin revealed it was difficult to date the purpose singer due to all the criticism the relationship received.

“I don’t want attention out of dating somebody. Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls...it’s hard to date somebody in this industry,” she told Marie Claire. “You have to have really thick skin and be very strong. You have to focus on the person and nothing else.”

Later on that year, Baldwin was romantically linked to Drake. Meanwhile, Mendes has been shutting down Camila Cabello romance rumors for years. After collaborating on the song “I Know What You Did Last Summer” in 2015, the two have been at the center of dating rumors but have insisted they are just friends.

Seeing as Mendes only has eyes for Baldwin at the moment, it looks like Cabello is going to remain in the friend zone.
