HALFTIME: Lakers Start Slow, and Trail Orlando 46-41; Kobe Bryant has Only Four Points
Kobe Bryant was a game-time decision based on his sprained ankle, but the Lakers star started the game at home against the Magic. He has struggled with his shot, shooting just two-of-10 from the field for four points, as the Magic lead the Lakers, 46-41 at halftime.
The Lakers got off to a slow start in a game where defense has been emphasized by both teams.
Andrew Bynum has not let up on his fantastic rebound pace. The Lakers center already has 12 rebounds, to go along with four blocks, however he also has three fouls.
Orlando's Jameer Nelson is also playing with three fouls.
The Magic have been led by Dwight Howard who has 13 points and eight rebounds, but is playing with two fouls and has turned the ball over five times.
Guard J.J. Redick is inactive for the Magic.
