With so many Hallmark Channel favorites starring in “Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa,” the movie’s sure to become a new favorite after its premiere on Sunday.

Some of the stars from 2017’s “Christmas in Evergreen,” including Ashley Williams, Holly Robinson Peete and Barbara Niven, are back for the sequel. Plus, Jill Wagner and Mark Deklin are joining the franchise as the new movie’s leads. On top of that, “Chesapeake Shores” actor Andrew Francis is also in the flick.

It’s going to be a big party of a movie, and here’s what you’ll see if you attend.

“After many years, retail designer Lisa Palmer (Wagner) revisits her hometown in Evergreen, Vermont over the holidays,” the synopsis starts. “Upon arriving to Evergreen, she meets Carol and Joe Shaw (Niven and Malcolm Stewart), who share that the beloved general store she remembers from her childhood has closed. While chatting with them, Lisa runs into Kevin (Deklin), the handsome stranger who she had met on the road to Evergreen.”

Lisa decides she wants to bring back the store to its former glory and hires Kevin, who happens to be a contractor, to help her. As the two work together, sparks begin to fly, but they’re not the only ones in town who might be starting up a romance during the holidays. Michelle meets single dad Thomas (Kevin Lawrence), who’s in town visiting with his son, and the two have instant chemistry.

“While cleaning, Lisa finds an old letter to Santa asking for a perfect Christmas like the ones before Kevin’s mom died, and assumes a young Kevin wrote it,” the synopsis teases. “Lisa and Kevin visit Kevin’s dad Henry (Daryl Shuttleworth), who has struggled to communicate with Kevin since his wife’s passing. Lisa shows the letter to Santa to Kevin – who doesn’t quite know how to take it.”

After Lisa invites one of her clients to see the store to possibly buy it, her business partner, Oliver (Francis), also arrives, causing Kevin to think he and Lisa are together when he sees them. She quickly clears that up, though, and the two discuss a future in Evergreen together. When her client chooses not to buy the store, Lisa and Oliver decide to just buy it themselves.

“However, Kevin overhears part of the conversation and, believing Lisa is moving back to Boston, decides to move to Maine,” the synopsis reveals. “As Lisa tries to catch him before he leaves, she receives encouragement – and a ride – from Dr. Allie Shaw (Williams), who found love in Evergreen herself last Christmas.”

Will Lisa be able to catch up to him in time to clear up yet another misunderstanding? Find out when “Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa” premieres on Sunday at 8 p.m. EST.
