Children and the young-at-heart go door-to-door dressed in their favorite costumes vying for free candy, but you don’t have to walk 10 miles to get free things at these places. Listed below are some restaurants that are offering discounts and freebies to customers, courtesy of EatAndDrinkDeals.com and Parade. Beware: You might have to dress in a spooky getup to reap the benefits.

Applebee’s: Kids will eat for free with the purchase of an adult entrée Monday.

Baja Fresh: From Saturday to Monday, kids who dress up will get a free entrée with the purchase of an adult meal. A coupon is required. It can be found on the Facebook page for Baja Fresh.

Baskin-Robbins: Enjoy a scoop of ice cream for $1.31 all day Monday.

Bubba Gump Shrimp: Kids eat for free Monday.

BurgerFi: Anyone who goes in costume Monday will get a free custard. One per customer.

Chipotle: Enjoy a “boorito” for $3 when you come to the chain dressed in costume from 3 p.m. to close Monday night. Offer applies to bowls, salads and tacos.

Chuck E. Cheese: Kids dressed in costume will get 50 tickets from Saturday to Halloween night.

IHOP: Kids can get a free “Scary Face Pancake” from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday.

Joe’s Crab Shack: Kids eat for free Monday as long as they show this email.

Krispy Kreme: Trick-or-treaters get a free doughnut Monday. No purchase necessary.

Miller’s Ale House: Trick-or-treaters who show up in costume Monday will eat for free when an adult entrée is purchased.

Sbarro Pizza: With a purchase of $5 or more, kids in costume will get a free slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza. Monday.

Taco Bell: The fast-food chain likes to do things a little different. Customers can get one free Doritos Locos Taco each from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2.

Texas Steakhouse: Trick-or-treaters eat for free with the purchase of an adult entrée.
