Halloween TV Schedule 2014: Scary Movies And More To Watch On Thursday, Oct. 23

Are you ready for Halloween? Only 7 days remain until the spookiest day of the year – but you don’t have to wait until Oct. 31 to celebrate. Many TV networks are celebrating the chilling holiday with scary movies and haunted TV specials.

Halloween lovers have many options for TV on Thursday, Oct. 23. Starting at 5:30 p.m. EDT, viewers can tune in to ABC Family for their “13 Nights of Halloween” celebration. The fun will kick off with the brand new prank series, “Freak Out,” followed by encore presentations of the 2014 “Melissa & Joey” and “Baby Daddy” Halloween specials.

AMC will be bringing the scream factor with their 2014 “Fear Fest” tradition. The horrifying thrills will run all day with screenings of classics like the 1983 film “Cujo” and 1997’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”
