Halsey And Machine Gun Kelly Are Not Dating Following G-Eazy Break Up

Halsey may be single after her split with G-Eazy, but that doesn’t mean the “Alone” singer has already found a new boyfriend. Although she was recently photographed during a fun night out, the 23-year-old is not dating Machine Gun Kelly.

News about the end of the “Him & I” artists’ relationship was revealed earlier this week. However, sources insist the “Strangers” singer has not started a new romance with the “Bad Things” rapper.

Insiders told Us Weekly Halsey and Machine Gun Kelly have a platonic friendship. “Halsey and Machine Gun Kelly are just friends. She definitely isn’t rebounding with him,” the source explained

Although they have been romantically linked to one another in the past, those close to the star revealed the two have a friendly history. “They have known each other for a long time and share a ton of mutual friends,” the insider shared.

Halsey and Machine Gun Kelly fueled dating rumors last week when they were spotted outside of a Los Angeles hot spot days before the singer confirmed her romance with G-Eazy was over.

Halsey first announced her split from the Me, Myself & I” rapper on her Instagram Story. “I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel the need to inform my fans. G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart,” she wrote on Tuesday.

“I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time,” she shared.

Following the split, sources told TMZ Halsey and G-Eazy seemed distant when they attended Post Malone’s performance at the at the Hollywood Bowl on June 28.

Insiders said the couple didn’t spend time together backstage and the “Bad at Love” singer left the concert to meet up with Machine Gun Kelly.

G-Eazy, who began dating Halsey in the summer of 2017, has not commented on the break-up. The rapper and his ex-girlfriend still follow each other another on Instagram and have not deleted photos documenting moments from their relationship off of their accounts.
