Happily Married Singer Lily Allen Joins Tinder To 'Meet People Abroad'
Being happily married doesn't mean you can't make new friends via dating sites. Singer Lily Allen thinks so and has joined a popular mobile dating app.
The often-married pop star has joined mobile dating app Tinder, E! Online said. Tinder is a location-based application that allows users to chat with someone they share mutual interest with. The “Somewhere Only We Know” songstress claims she created the Tinder account to make some new friends while she is touring.
"I'm a touring artist wanting to meet people abroad who don't want to talk about the industry formally known as entertainment,” Allen's profile reads, according to E! Online. She also adds information about her marriage and children. "I am married, have two beautiful girls, a massive mortgage and ridiculous schedule." Allen has been married to a non-celebrity named Sam Cooper since 2011. Cooper is “a builder and decorator” by profession, according to Wikipedia.
Allen, 30, further writes that she likes “margaritas, the odd cigarette and Jordan's." The website also adds that the singer posted pictures of her younger days in the profile. It took the songstress one year to join the mobile dating site as she shared her likeliness for Tinder in 2014, too. "Just discovered tinder. *Waves goodbye to life*," Allen wrote on Twitter at that time.
Allen is not the only celebrity fascinated by Tinder. People magazine asked Bradley Cooper to come up with a Tinder profile description for his “Aloha” co-star Emma Stone and what he said about the actress was quite flattering. “[Her] reptilian eyes take you into a kind place,” Copper said, adding that Stone's eyes are “soft and lovely and full of grace.”
The “Birdman” actress reciprocated to Cooper's words in an equally flattering way. “Look at those blue [eyes]. He’s into Chinese food, but he’s equally into making you smile,” she said about Cooper. Though both actors said beautiful words about each other, they have not joined the Tinder app yet.
