Harold Camping's Reaction to Failed Doomsday Reports Still Unknown
Harold Camping, the bible teacher, broadcaster and author who predicted that May 21, 2011 would be judgment day, has not been heard from since the expected outcome of rolling mega earthquakes starting in New Zealand failed to materialize on schedule at 6 p.m. local time.
Attempts by IBTimes to contact Family Radio at its Oakland, California headquarters by phone were not answered.
A radio broadcast of Family Radio on WFME, owned by Family Stations Inc., was streaming online at the group's website: A public affairs program dealing with cardiovascular health was airing on Saturday afternoon. It was unclear if the program was live or recorded. The Family Bible Reading Fellowship aired shortly thereafter.
