Heather Morris Gives Birth: ‘Glee’ Star Poses With Baby Boy Elijah, Boyfriend Taylor Hubbell [PHOTOS]
Former "Glee" star Heather Morris gave birth to her first child this weekend with longtime boyfriend Taylor Hubbell.
According to a report from Us Weekly, the 26-year-old actress gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named Elijah, on Saturday, Sept. 28. The birth comes six months after news of the longtime “Glee” star's pregnancy had been announced. According to a previous report from Us Weekly, the blonde actress, famous for her role as cheerleader Brittany Pierce on the show, was surprised by the pregnancy. “It was totally unexpected, but they’re incredibly happy and excited,” a source told the magazine earlier this year.
While Morris has yet to publicly address the birth of her child, Hubbell’s brother Adam shared a photo of the newborn on Instagram Sunday with the caption, “The newest Mr. Hubbell #say uncle.” According to a report from Extra TV, a Twitter user by the name @oneandonlymich also shared a picture of Morris smiling directly after the birth, posing alongside Hubbell and the newborn.
Morris spoke about her ideal family life during a 2011 interview with Fitness magazine, in which she expressed her desire to settle down with Hubbell, a University of Louisiana at Lafayette baseball player. "I want to marry him so bad," Morris said, adding, “That's what I really care about. I want to marry Taylor and have kids with him. I love acting, but if it affects my relationship, then I won't continue doing it."
Morris famously departed the musical comedy series earlier this year due to her pregnancy. The fifth season of “Glee,” which premiered on Sept. 26, will continue with two more episodes: “Tina in the Sky with Diamonds" will air Thursday, Oct. 3, as will the show’s tribute to its fallen star, actor Corey Monteith, “The Quarterback,” on Oct. 10.
