Hillary Clinton Shares How Daughter Chelsea Taught Her ‘A Lot About Patience’; Relationship Exposed

Hillary Clinton shared how her daughter Chelsea taught her a lot about patience.

Hillary and her only child Chelsea share a close bond as mother and daughter. In an interview with OprahMag.com, the former first lady divulged the things she learned from her daughter.

Hillary admitted that Chelsea taught her “a lot about patience” and “being a little more understanding of situations” whenever she didn’t get what she wanted. She also praised her daughter as a mom.

“I've learned a lot watching her be a mom,” Hillary said. “She’s an incredible mother to her three children.”

Hillary also acknowledged her daughter’s skills in making decisions. In fact, she lets her decide because she respects her daughter.

“I have learned to bite my tongue and bide my time,” Hillary said. “My advice is of my generation, of my personality, and my experience. I share it maybe more sparingly than I thought I would, because I respect Chelsea's boundaries and Chelsea’s right to make her own decision.”

Chelsea also complimented her mom and shared that she learned a lot of things from her.

“I've learned so much from my mom. I mean, I literally learned how to read thanks to my mom,” Chelsea said. “I learned...just never give up and to always get back up the next day.”

Chelsea has three children with husband Marc Mezvinsky, Charlotte, 5, Aidan, 3, and Jasper, 8 months. She admitted that she appreciates her mom’s parenting style, but he has a different approach when it comes to her own kids.

“While I’m always very grateful to hear my mother’s advice on parenting, thankfully, I know that sometimes I have to enforce my own boundaries and say, ‘Mom, I’m so thankful that you shared that. That’s not what I’m going to do. But please keep giving me advice, even if you know I won’t always take it,’” she added.

Hillary opened up about her marriage with former president Bill Clinton following his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Hillary confessed that it came to a point when she did not want anything to do with her husband, but when they were photographed as a family with Chelsea holding both of her parents’ hands, Hillary felt that she was trying to keep them together. So, she decided to stay and keep their family.
