‘Homemade Christmas’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime 2020” is set to continue with the premiere of the newest holiday film, “Homemade Christmas,” starring Michelle Argyris and Travis Nelson.
The movie will be a treat to Lifetime fans since it will feature two actors in starring roles that are new to Lifetime. Argyris has never acted in a Lifetime film before, and may best be known for her role as Kendra on “General Hospital,” or for her role in the film “An Assortment of Christmas Tales In No Particular Order.”
Nelson might be someone Lifetime fans recognize since he appeared in three previous movies for the network-- “Obsession: Stalked By My Lover,” “Obsession: Escaping My Ex” and “Obsession: Her Final Vengeance.” This will be his first holiday film for the network, however, with his only other festive credits being in UpTV’s “Mistletoe Magic.”
So what will happen when these two team up for their first film together? As it turns out, some holiday spirit and a desire to help will also bring about some Christmas romance.
“Every year, Megan (Argyris), an ambitious young woman, uses the weeks leading up to Christmas to become the ultimate holiday freelance assistant for hire, helping with any Christmas related tasks for extra income,” a synopsis states. “But when the opportunity arrives to save a Christmas party and dazzle her crush, she must choose between the man of her aspirations and Mr. Right.”
“Homemade Christmas” premieres Sunday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
