‘Hot Chocolate Holiday’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
Lifetime’s “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” programming event is about to come to an end, with the penultimate new premiere, “Hot Chocolate Holiday,” starring Aubrey Reynolds and Jonny Swenson.
The movie will be a treat for fans who may recognize Reynolds from other films on the network, which include “Sinister Minister,” “You May Now Kill the Bride” and “Secrets in the Snow.” She may also be recognizable for toles in Hallmark Channel’s “My Christmas Love” and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries “Christmas Tree Lane.”
Fans will also be in for a treat as this will be their first introduction to Swenson, whose most notable previous roles include PFC Gonzales in “Day Zero: The Series,” as well as the films “A Promise of the Heart” and “Lights, Camera, Romance.”

“Colette (Reynolds) runs a coffee shop that is known for her secret and famous hot chocolate,” a synopsis reads. “When Marcus (Swenson), a new dessert shop owner, starts to draw in Colette’s customers with his very own specialty hot chocolate that tastes exactly like the recipe from her beloved grandmother, she is determined to expose him.”
Of course, things don’t go according to plan.
“But as she gets to know Marcus, sparks fly between the cocoa connoisseurs,” the synopsis concludes.
“Hot Chocolate Holiday” airs Friday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
