Midgar Studio and Fusty Game just released a major patch for “Hover: Revolt of Gamers” and it comes with a lot of changes and improvements. The big update also introduces Hideki Naganuma’s music into the Parkour game.

On Saturday, the developers behind the independent game announced via Steam the release of the major patch for Early Access on Valve’s digital distribution platform. According to them, the major patch brings many new “cool stuff” that players will really like and it also solves many minor issues.

Among the “cool stuff” the patch comes with, the developers highlighted Naganuma’s music as the main feature of the update. Naganuma is known for his compositions for “Sonic Rush,” “Jet Set Radio,” “Jet Set Radio Future” and many other video game soundtracks. Once players have installed the new patch, they may get the chance to listen to Naganuma’s music by visiting the Fusty Pub or even the Gamer’s headquarters.

Midgar Studio and Fusty Game also brought back the Trick Score System with this update. So once again, players can increase their scores by performing more tricks. Higher scores would also lead to more energy, so players are challenged to do trick combos and perform some grinding and sliding if they want to increase their energy. Players who are getting 100 points for their tricks will generate an Energy Aura, which helps in boosting allies and opening special containers and certain missions in the game.

The new patch brings new missions as well. Two new mission types that are being introduced to the game through the update are Trickscore and Condenser. Aside from these, two other missions have been added in district A. Various improvements and fixes are also implemented by the new patch. For example, Gamers, Breakers and Rank are now correctly displayed during dialogs. The glitch in the sounds of spy drones has already been addressed, alongside the textures of the Graffitis.
