How Angelina Jolie Is Raising Her Kids With Brad Pitt Right [PHOTOS]
Angelina Jolie and three of her kids with Brad Pitt were spotted selling organic dog treats at a dog park late last year. However, it was only recently that the reason behind their actions was revealed.
Earlier this year, former "Parenthood" actress Sarah Ramos shared photos of Jolie and her children sitting by a table with small paper bags and a small white sign in front with a heart on it. In the snaps, Jolie, 43, was accompanied by her children Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10, along with an unidentified woman, at a dog park to sell organic dog treats.
Ramos wrote on the Twitter post that the sales of the dog treats go to Hope For Paws animal rescue, a Los Angeles-based charity that "gives homeless and injured animals the chance of a good life." She encouraged her followers to donate to the charity to "make Angie happy."
A source previously told People that it was Jolie and Pitt's kids who took the initiative to support the animal rescue. The children reportedly wanted to "support Hope for Paws and they made the treats themselves."
Ramos continued to explain in her post that she had been "conflicted" about sharing the pictures of Jolie and her family, explaining that it actually happened "months ago in November." She revealed that she need to protect Jolie and her children's privacy, but she also thought that "this is the story of our times."
"I wasn’t expecting anything [to happen when I went there] and I found Angie Jolie," she wrote."
“So, also, I know now that Angelina’s kids knew I was taking that photo and I wasn’t getting anything past anybody but I’m still glad I took the photo and I’m sorry that’s their lives,” Ramos continued. “And they were just selling organic dog treats for some charity. Maybe it was the kids idea to go do something fun in the neighborhood, be a normal mom, a normal fam. Your parents would do it if you asked them.”
Meanwhile, Jolie previously opened up about how she raises her six kids with Pitt, with whom she also shares Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, and Zahara, 14. The Oscar-winning actress told BBC Radio 4's "Today" that her children "all have a good rebellious streak that is wonderful and curious" and that she makes sure to encourage them to make their own decisions.
"I don’t want them to be perfectly behaved little people that just say what’s absolutely appropriate because I say so … they have to find themselves," she told host Justin Webb.
