How Christina Haack, Ant Anstead Celebrated Their Son Hudson's Birthday After Divorce

Christina Haack and Ant Anstead both celebrated the second birthday of their son after their divorce, but they did it separately.

Haack, 38, and Anstead, 42, both gave their son, Hudson, a sweet tribute on social media for his second birthday Monday. The exes who finalized their divorce in June had separate celebrations for their tot.

In Haack's post, she shared a snap of Hudson wearing a black shirt while smiling with a cupcake on a plate in front of him. The cupcake had a blue number 2 candle on it. In the second snap, the little man was beaming while on a kiddie trike.

"Happy 2nd Birthday Hudson!! Such a sweet, active and smart boy," Haack wrote in the caption. "He loves to try and figure things out for himself and has this mischievous look on his face while doing it haha. He’s talking a lot already but his favorite word in our home is 'Cash' [dog face emoji]. We love you!"

Anstead also shared a snap of Hudson from his other birthday celebration with his dad. In the picture, the birthday boy could be seen in the middle of a lot of people, including some kids his age.

"Hudzo is surrounded by so many friends who love him! He has such a community of cool people of substance. Blessed beyond measure!" Anstead wrote in the caption.

Both Anstead and Haack's posts received several comments from their fans and followers. Many also greeted Hudson with a happy birthday.

"Happy Birthday! He's a precious little boy!" one commented on Haack's post.

"He is a beautiful child so blessed you are and yes he seems like he will be very much like his Dad adventurous and creative," another added.

Many also praised Anstead as a dad to Hudson in his post. Several of them complimented his parenting skills.

"Hudson is so blessed with the best dad!!" one commented on Anstead's post with a red heart emoji.

"Seems he’s always with you. Idk the details but he’s probably better off with you in hopes of a normal life," another wrote.

"So great how wonderful Dad you are. And yes [it's] a blessing to be surrounded by great people," a third added.

Haack and Anstead announced their split in September 2020, three months before their supposed second wedding anniversary. Their divorce was finalized in June.

Both have already moved on from each other. Haack has been dating Austin-based realtor Joshua Hall while Anstead is in a relationship with actress Renée Zellweger.

An unnamed source told People last month that Anstead's priority remains Hudson.

"Even when Renée is around, his son is the center of attention," the source told the outlet. "They do beach outings, go for ice cream and other child-friendly activities."
