Christina Hall is "happy" for her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa as they prepare to expand their family, according to a report.
The "Christina on the Coast" star, who is now married to realtor Josh Hall, reportedly wasn't surprised when Tarek and Heather announced Wednesday that they are expecting their first child together.
"[Christina] knew about the pregnancy and is letting them have their moment," an unnamed source told Us Weekly. "Christina is happy for them."
Christina shares two children with Tarek: daughter Taylor, 11, and son Brayden, 6.
The "Flip or Flop" alums split in 2016 after eight years of marriage and finalized their divorce in 2018. Tarek moved on with Heather one year later and proposed in July 2020. In October last year, the couple tied the knot in a ceremony that included Tarek and Christina's children.
After their nuptials, Heather revealed via Instagram that she and Tarek decided to say their vows first to Taylor and Brayden before each other because the "kids are truly our everything."
"This is just a tiny portion of what I said to the kids, but I truly meant every word: When your daddy and I decided to be fully committed, I was 100% committing myself to you too. I am beyond honored to be your bonus mommy," the "Selling Sunset" star added. "Thank you for allowing me to love your daddy with all my heart. I love you both more than you will ever know."
However, co-parenting wasn't always easy for Tarek and Christina. In May, they were spotted getting into a heated argument at a children's soccer game in Newport Beach, California. Heather and Christina's husband Josh were also involved in the incident.
But the two couples put on a united front in the same month when Brayden underwent an "emergency" appendectomy and had his Meckel's diverticulum removed.
At the time, Christina shared on Instagram Stories a photo of her 6-year-old son smiling in the hospital following his surgery, along with a message of praise for Tarek, Heather and Josh.
"Stressful 24 hours but a good reminder how important teamwork/co-parenting is," the HGTV personality wrote. "We are all under pressure, but when it really matters, we were all there for Brayden doing our part."
She added, "Sometimes, a scary situation can be a good wake-up call. In the end, all the other stuff is just 'noise'; what matters is the kids."
Heather also shared some details about Brayden's health scare via Instagram. She revealed that she and Tarek were awoken by the child's call for help in the middle of the night and that Christina and Josh rushed to meet them at the hospital "very early" in the morning.
The Netflix star thanked the doctors, nurses and staff at Mission Hospital who took care of Brayden and acknowledged the blended family's teamwork.
"[It's] times like these we ban (sic) together as a family. It's been a very emotional day, but he is doing well and recovering," Heather wrote.
A rep for Christina addressed the soccer match spat, saying in a joint statement to Page Six that the two couples had resolved their issues.
"A personal matter was discussed and has since been resolved. We are focused on co-parenting as a team moving forward," the statement said.
