After speculation and rumors surrounding Kanye West and Kim Kardashian getting married, West proposed to his girlfriend of 18 months on her 33^rd birthday. The usually private rapper showed his love for the reality star in a huge way, renting out AT&T Park in San Francisco Monday night.

In front of her family and friends, the 36-year-old had a 50-piece orchestra play Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful,” before playing his own hit song “Knock Me Down,” which includes the lyrics, “I never thought I’d be in love like this/When I look at you my mind goes on a trip/Then you came in and knocked me on my face/Feels like I’m in a race, but I already won first place.”

After the performance, the words, “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEEE!!!! [sic]” appeared on the scoreboard screen, and after Kardashian said yes, there were fireworks and her family came out of the dugouts to celebrate the amazing moment with her.

The couple have been dating since last year, though they have known each other for around a decade and have a newborn daughter together.

Originally it was reported that they may not be walking down the aisle anytime soon, because after releasing his sixth album, "Yeezus," recently, West has been busy promoting it and will tour.

“There’s way too much going on. He has to tour later this year, he’s a new dad, plus he and Kim are looking for a place to settle into and call their own. They’re not about to add more things to do by trying to get married on top of everything they have to do. It’s not happening anytime soon,” a source told Hollywood Life this summer.

But it seems West is more than ready to make Kardashian his wife. This will be the third marriage for the 33-year-old, and the first for West.
