How Doria Ragland Raised Meghan Markle As A Child
Meghan Markle’s uncle has shared how her mom Doria Ragland raised her as a kid.
Joseph Johnson, Ragland’s half-brother, shared how close Markle was to the family when she was a teen. He even shared photos of the Duchess of Sussex smiling as she helped her uncle and cousins set the table for Thanksgiving dinner years ago. Johnson believed that it is unlikely for Markle to join them for the same event this year, but he will always loves his niece and half-sister. He even shared how Ragland raised the duchess.
According to Johnson, Ragland brought Markle gently. She never raised a hand to her daughter and added that Markle is the perfect example of how one brought up with lots of love produces a kind person.
“My mother believed in not sparing the rod. Meghan, on the other hand, I don’t think she’s ever had a spanking so I really learned a lot from the way my sister raised her in that you raise a different person,” Johnson told Daily Mail.
“You raise a more reasonable person that's easy to discipline. They understand a different way what you're trying to discipline them for and it was just a beautiful thing to know that she had never been spanked and how pleasant she turned out. It wasn't a harsh treatment like some people go through. It was just a lot of love and kindness and tenderness and I think it's going to be the same thing for Archie.”
On the other hand, another uncle from Markle’s father’s side spoke about the duchess. According to Mike Markle, 80, he is also not expecting to hear from the duchess again. He even shared his thoughts about how the duchess treats her own family.
“I don’t understand her, the way she’s treated her family. I’m not very fond of it,” Mike said.
Markle’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr revealed a few months ago that Markle was abusing their father’s love. According to him, Thomas Markle Sr. put the Duchess of Sussex first and above them, but she was “cruel” and “selfish” because she gave their father nothing but pain.
