'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 2 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen When Annalise Takes The Stand In 'She's Dying'?
Order in the court -- Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) is gearing up to take the stand, this time to be questioned as a witness. During Thursday's Season 2 episode of "How to Get Away With Murder" viewers learned that the successful lawyer and Middleton University professor's lover, Nate (Billy Brown), was facing potential jail time for the murder of Sam Keating (Tom Verica). He warned Annalise that, while he was fine with going to prison for a crime he had nothing to do with, he wasn't going down without a fight.
According to the "HTGAWM" synopsis shared by ABC, Annalise and her team of young lawyers are in for a rollercoaster ride in episode 2, "She's Dying." In addition to being forced to testify against Nate for a crime she knows full well he didn't commit, Annalise and her star students, known to viewers as the Keating five, will be faced with some serious challenges in a case they're defending involving two wealthy siblings. ABC claims the crew will be "blindsided" by new information which rocks the case in which the brother-sister duo, introduced in episode 1, are being charged with murdering their parents.
With Nate preparing to head to trial viewers are left wondering who will represent him. As you may recall in the "HTGAWM" premiere, Annalise called an old friend from Harvard Law, Eve (Famke Janssen). It was obvious from the start that the pair had history, but no one could have guess just how deep their past really was. After Eve refused to get involved with the case, despite Annalise's constant reassuring that Nate was innocent, it was revealed that the two female lawyers had a romantic history. They appeared to have made amends for their previous problems, sealing the deal with a lusty make-out session. Still, Eve never agreed to take on Nate's case, leaving him to take on a murder trial on his own.
"HTGAWM" Season 2, episode 2, "She's Dying," airs Thursday at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
