‘How To Get Away With Murder’ Season 3 Spoilers: Who Is The Father Of Laurel’s Baby?

The explosive Season 3 fall finale of ABC’s “How To Get Away With Murder” solved many questions including the most crucial one: Who is under the sheet? However, the midseason finale left some pertinent questions unanswered. One of those involve the identity of the father of Laurel’s (Karla Souza) baby.

Although Laurel slept with her boyfriend Wes (Alfred Enoch) multiple times before the night of the fire, she also spent a night with her ex-boyfriend Frank (Charlie Weber) in her apartment. It is possible that old feelings came to the surface and she slept with him without telling anyone about it. So both Wes and Frank can be her baby daddy.

“We’ll get an answer to who the baby daddy is in the first episode back,” the executive producer of “How To Get Away With Murder,” Pete Nowalk, told TVLine.

An even more pressing concern is whether Laurel’s baby will survive the night of the fire. After all, there was an explosion. “It’s part of Laurel’s story in the back half of the season,” Nowalk said.

“HTGAWM” Season 3, episode 9 revealed that Wes was the unidentified male under the sheet. However, we still don’t know the events that led up to him entering Annalise Keating’s (Viola Davis) apartment moments before Laurel. What also isn’t clear is how Nate (Billy Brown) knew that Wes was dead before the fire engulfed the lawyer’s house. What did Nate see? And who murdered Wes?

Other questions that arose from the Season 3 winter finale are – what was Frank doing outside the house? And who was the anonymous source that supplied evidence to convict Annalise for Rebecca’s murder? So many questions!
