‘How To Get Away With Murder’ Season 4: Amirah Vann To Recur
A new face is going to join “How to Get Away With Murder” Season 4, since former “Underground” star Amirah Vann has just been cast in a recurring role.
However, Deadline reported that details about Vann’s mysterious role are still being kept under tight wraps.
Vann will be joining two other new players in the ABC show, such as Viola Davis’ husband, Julius Tennon, and “NYPD Blue” alum Jimmy Smits.
The Hollywood Reporter earlier said that Smit has booked a major recurring role and will be playing a prominent figure in the life of Annalise Keating (Viola Davis). His character will also have an integral role in the fourth season mystery.
The show starts every season with a big mystery, but executive producer Pete Nowalk said Season 4 is different in the sense that they already know who the killer is. “This year, the question is not a ‘who,’ it’s a ‘where.’ It’s very different than the other seasons, which is why I love it, but it’s still a really great mystery,” he said. “It’s still a crazyballs, roller-coaster, what-the-[expletive]-happened mystery. We’ll find out that question — in fact, one of the characters will even say it by the end of the first episode.”
Nowalk was most likely referring to Laurel Castillo’s (Karla Souza) frantic cry, “Where is my baby?” during the end of the first episode of Season 4. She appeared to be in a hospital, and when she came to, the first thing she did was to check on her belly. Laurel was shocked to discover that her baby is gone, so when Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) came to comfort her, she was inconsolable.
Laurel made the tough decision to lie to her father about aborting Wes Gibbons’ (Alfred Enoch) baby. She wanted to assure her father that she has terminated the pregnancy so that she can gather clues about Wes’ murder. Unfortunately, it seems like Laurel is going to face the repercussions of her lie.
“How to Get Away with Murder” Season 4 airs every Thursday at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
