Nate and Bonnie are still emotional wrecks after killing Miller but on “How To Get Away With Murder” Season 5, episode 10, they will have to come up with alibis as Annalise tries to stop Gabriel from finding out what really happened to Sam.

“As the investigation into Miller’s murder intensifies, Bonnie (Liza Weil) and Nate (Billy Brown) formulate their alibis,” the synopsis for “Don’t Go Dark on Me” teases. In the promo video for the ABC series, Annalise (Viola Davis) warns Nate that the governor will come after them even harder now.

Nate believes Miller (John Hensley) was working with governor Birkhead (Laura Innes) to have Nate Sr. (Glynn Turman) killed. As a result, Nate brutally beat Miller and told Bonnie the district attorney made the call to have his father killed. Bonnie then put her hands over Miller’s mouth and nose until he stopped breathing.

In the “HTGAWM” promo video, Frank (Charlie Weber) tells Bonnie and Nate they will be the main suspects the second Miller is identified as missing. Now that there is an investigation forming about Miller, Nate and Bonnie need to cover their tracks.

In the previous episode, Bonnie ordered a pizza and gave the delivery woman a large tip, perhaps something to remember her by?

Elsewhere in the “How to Get Away With Murder” Season 5, episode 10 preview, Nate tells Asher (Matt McGorry) he didn’t see him with Miller and Asher agrees. Will this be enough to keep the police from adding Nate and Bonnie to their list of suspects?

“Annalise devises a plan to ensure Gabriel (Rome Flynn) never learns the truth about his father,” the synopsis for “Don’t Go Dark on Me” teases. In the ABC promo video, Gabriel tells the Keating group that Sam (Tom Verica) is his father and he just wants to know what happened to him.

In the previous episode, Gabriel told Annalise he didn’t blame her for breaking up his family but just wanted to know the truth about what happened to his father. Annalise insisted Wes (Alfred Enoch) killed Sam and played Gabriel the incriminating voicemail.

However, seeing as Gabriel made a phone call telling someone he screwed up and the group learned his true identity, it doesn’t seem like he believes Annalise. Is this the beginning of another headache for Annalise and her inner circle?
