The FBI is still investigating Miller’s disappearance but on “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 5, episode 12, Annalise and Nate will begin to fear Gabriel could cause even more problems.

“Nate (Billy Brown) and Annalise (Viola Davis) both need to keep Gabriel close to ensure their secrets stay hidden,” the synopsis for “We Know Everything” teases. In the promo video for the ABC series, Annalise tells the group she is going to find out why Gabriel (Rome Flynn) is being held by the FBI.

In the previous episode, the FBI took Gabriel into custody after learning he left a voicemail on Miller’s phone at the same time as the district attorney’s disappearance. Gabriel then contacted Annalise and told her that he needed a lawyer.

Annalise is aware Gabriel came to town to find out more information about his father, Sam (Tom Verica). Although she told him Wes (Alfred Enoch) killed Sam, she can’t be too sure that Gabriel believes her and won’t bring his suspicions up with the FBI.

Elsewhere in the “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 5, episode 12 promo video, Annalise asks Gabriel how she can be sure he isn’t working with the FBI.

When Annalise finds out Gabriel was working with Miller in “We Know Everything,” will she realize she needs the law student on her side or will the clever attorney find a way to get rid of her latest problem?

“How to Get Away with Murder” Season 5, episode 12 airs Thursday at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
