Annalise may still be gloating about winning the class action lawsuit for Nate’s father, but on “How To Get Away With Murder” Season 5, episode 6, the defense attorney may be forced to make a deadly decision that could ruin everything she has worked for.

“When Annalise (Viola Davis) receives a call from Gov. Birkhead (Laura Innes), she’s forced to weigh an interesting offer,” the synopsis for “We Can’t Find Him” teases. In the ABC promo video, Emmett (Timothy Hutton) tells Annalise he will gladly destroy anyone who gets in her way.

In the previous episode, Annalise took a harsh jab at Birkhead after winning her class action case. The governor was doing everything she could to make sure Annalise failed to change the justice system, but the persistent attorney managed to win over the jury and overturn a controversial murder conviction.

After hearing Annalise insult her in the press, Birkhead ordered her staff to arrange a meeting with the lawyer. Will Annalise be forced to take Emmett up on his offer if Birkhead tries to scare her out of pursuing another class action lawsuit?

“Bonnie (Liza Weil) reunites with her sister,” the synopsis for “How To Get Away With Murder” Season 5, episode 6 says. In the ABC promo video, Bonnie asks her sister, Julie (Elizabeth Morton), to tell her the truth for once.

In the previous episode, Bonnie had an emotional break down after learning her parents lied about her baby dying. Nate (Billy Brown) investigated Bonnie’s past without her permission and learned the baby was actually stolen from the hospital. Although he thought the woman in the hospital surveillance photo was Bonnie, Annalise revealed it was actually Julie.

In the “We Can’t Find Him” promo video, Julie reveals if Bonnie knew the truth it would have killed her. She later admits she vowed to do anything to protect Bonnie and reveals she has kept her promise. Did Julie really take Bonnie’s baby to protect her sister or is she still hiding the truth?

“Connor (Jack Falahee) and Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) try to keep their cool while their mothers are in town helping with wedding plans,” the synopsis for “HTGAWM” states. In the previous episode of the ABC drama, Connor was upset when Oliver told him he invited both of their mothers for a visit.

Prior to the announcement, the couple agreed they wouldn’t see their families until they got closer to the wedding. Is there a reason why Connor doesn’t want his mother around Oliver?

“How To Get Away With Murder” Season 5, episode 6 airs Thursday at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
