Burger King is giving scorned lovers a chance to get back at their ex and get a free Whopper in exchange. The fast-food chain is offering free Whoppers to anyone that brings a picture of their ex to a participating restaurant.

The promotion is part of a partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures and its new film “Birds of Prey.”

On Feb. 14, heartbroken lovers can head to a particpating Burger King in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Boston with a photo of their ex, which they can dispose of in a “Birds of Prey” breakup box in exchange for a free Whopper.

Burger King said customers in New York City can also bring in letters, stuffed animals, or clothing items to claim their free Whopper.

Participating restaurants include:

  • New York City – 327 W 42nd St
  • San Francisco – 35 Powell Street
  • Los Angeles – 545 North Victory Boulevard
  • Boston – 150 Everett Avenue

All items will be destroyed after the promotion, Burger King said.

For customers that don’t live near a participating Burger King restaurant, the company is launching an in-app quiz that will give $3 off a Whopper only via the BK app. Four out of five right answers will active the $3 off.
