How To Get Governors Ball 2019 Tickets Before Passes Get More Expensive
Governors Ball has unveiled its 2019 lineup, and music lovers are likely already searching for tickets. They shouldn’t wait too long to buy them, though. Prices will only get higher.
On Monday, the New York City music festival announced that Tyler, the Creator, Florence + the Machine and the Strokes would headline on May 31, June 1 and June 2, respectively. On Monday only, fans can get special pricing.
The tickets start at $275 for a 3-day general admission price, but that ticket will be $305 starting Tuesday when regular pricing kicks in. VIP 3-day passes are $600 each until midnight when they rise to $705. The general admission passes have a $30 fee while the VIP passes have a $40 fee.
To get in on the sale, simply head to the Governors Ball website and purchase before 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday.
Unfortunately, the super expensive tickets aren’t on sale. It looks like VIP-Plus ($1950) and Platinum ($2190) ticket prices will remain the same.
The three-day festival, which is held at Randall’s Island Park, will include dozens of artists from all genres. Lil Wayne, the 1975, Kacey Musgraves, Major Lazer, Nas, SZA, Lily Allen, Charli XCX, Ty Dolla $ign, Blood Orange, Soccer Mommy and more are set to perform.
