It’s a family affair on the tenth episode of “How I Met Your Mother.” The latest episode of the CBS sitcom is set to air on Monday, Nov. 18 and reunite Barney’s mother Loretta with not one of her baby daddy’s … but two!

According to a leaked synopsis of episode 10, “Mom and Dad,” Barney’s father, Jerry (John Lithgow), will be arriving at the Farhampton hotel for the wedding. But Jerry won’t be enjoying a relaxing day with his son before the big day. Instead, “Barney devises a plan that makes Robin very nervous.”

What’s Barney’s plan for his father? Based on a sneak peek video posted on SpoilerTV, we’d have to say that Barney is trying to get his parents back together!

The video for “Mom and Dad” shows Barney confronting James over inviting his father, Sam (Ben Vereen) to the wedding. While James initially said that Sam was coming to marry Barney and Robin, his real plan was to get his mom, Loretta, back together with his dad.

“I see what you’re doing,” Barney tells his brother, telling him that his plan is “completely insane.”

“My dad’s single, Mom’s single,” James explains reasonably. “Your dad is happily married with two kids. Which one makes more sense to you?”

“I agree,” Barney says. “It’s a tie!”

As the Stinson brothers fight to get their separate dads back together with their mom, Ted will be in hot water for a wedding-related duty gone wrong. But did Ted mess up … or was he framed?
