Apple recently released the iOS 13 public beta for iPhones and the iPadOS public preview for iPads. Those who are interested to try Apple’s new mobile software and see its features months before the final product becomes available can do so by following the instructions listed below.

By installing the new iOS 13 public beta and iPadOS public preview,iPhone and iPad users will be able to enjoy the benefits and upgrades that Apple gave to the two operating systems. iPhone users will be able to utilize Dark Mode and enjoy other features like ARKit 3, while iPad users will be given the chance to try new home widgets for themselves, CNBC noted.

As a safety precaution, those who want to try the new iOS 13 and iPadOS are advised to back their devices up before installing. This can be done by going to Settings, tapping the user’s name on top of the screen, selecting iCloud and making sure it’s turned “on,” then pressing on “Back up now.”

As an added safety precaution, those who want to try iOS 13 on their iPhones are advised to use a non-primary phone for the purpose, as reverting back to an earlier iOS version will take some effort, and might result in unwanted outcomes.
