Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth have forged a special relationship with each other. Over the years, the Duchess of Cambridge has learned how to be more like Her Majesty, and this is something that the monarch loves about her.

On the “Royals” podcast, royal commentator Angela Mollard said that Her Majesty loves the majority of Middleton’s traits. For instance, the mom of three is unflappable, ordinary, and she doesn’t also get uptight.

The royal expert also said that the future Queen embodies the British sentiment of “keep calm and carry on.”

“The Queen's entire manifesto through these years has been a sense of duty, keeping calm, unflappability. Kate is embodying that and she will see that will take the royal family into the future in a way perhaps her own children haven’t managed to do! There has been so much scandal around her own children and yet Kate has this very secure marriage. They look so happy,” she said.

Meanwhile, Mollard also called Prince William and Middleton a very happy looking couple. Despite the recent rumors that the Duke of Cambridge had an affair, it has become evident that their relationship has only gotten stronger.

“If you saw them down at race week down at the Isle of Wight, her and William, you couldn’t have seen a happier looking couple. The Queen knows that the monarchy is in good hands with Kate,” she said.

However, the same cannot be said about Meghan Markle. Even though the Duchess of Sussex and the Queen are also on good terms, the former has been snubbing the latter throughout the past year.

Markle and Prince Harry refused to visit the Queen and Prince Philip in Sandringham this past summer. And the royal couple just announced that they won’t be celebrating Christmas with the royals either.

Instead, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be traveling to the United States at the end of the month to spend the holidays with Doria Ragland.
