How Many Duggar Grandchildren Are There? ‘Counting On’ Family Tree

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are famous for their 19 children, but they are well on their way to becoming grandparents to a lot more. In a recent episode of “Counting On,” the reality stars revealed they have the possibility of welcoming over 100 grandchildren should each of their offspring have five kids in their lifetime.

Before “Counting On” returns to TLC for Season 3 next month, find out how many grandchildren the Arkansas couple has today.

Josh and Anna Duggar

Josh and Anna are responsible for giving Jim Bob and Michelle their first grand baby. Anna welcomed daughter Mackynzie Renee in October 2009. During her pregnancy, Michelle was also expecting her nineteenth child, Josie. Josh and Anna went on to welcome sons Michael James in June 2011 and Marcus Anthony in June 2013. In July 2015, the couple had their second daughter, Meredith Grace. They’re are currently expecting their fifth baby, a boy, who is expected to arrive this fall.

Jessa and Ben Seewald

Jessa and Ben took awhile to get married but they didn’t wait long to start their family. In November 2015 they welcomed their first baby, a boy named Spurgeon Seewald. After months of openly discussing their desire to adopt, the couple shared they had been turned away due to the length of their marriage. While they have said on numerous occasions that adoption is still in their hearts, they did welcome a second biological child in February. Their newest addition is a boy is named Henry Wilberforce.

Jill and Derick Dillard

Jill and Derick surprised their family and fans by announcing that they were expecting just two months after their June 2014 wedding. After almost two days of labor, Jill welcomed their first child, son Israel David, in April 2015. After almost two years of going back and forth on the mission field overseas, the couple revealed they were expecting their second baby last December. Their baby boy Samuel Scott was born on July 8.

While Jim Bob and Michelle already have their hands full with eight (almost nine) grandchildren, and several of their kids own still living at home, it appears they’re more than ready to welcome more. During the tell-all reunion special with their children as part of “Counting On” Season 2 last month, Jim Bob mentioned he’s expecting a pregnancy announcement from at least one of his newly married daughters soon.

“Maybe Joy and Austin [Forsyth] will have a little one on the way. You never know what will happen,” he said when discussing the upcoming episodes.

After Joy interjected that her sister Jinger Vuolo had been married longer, Jim Bob said he could also see his 23-year-old daughter announcing a baby is on the way shortly.

Michelle added to the baby rumors during the episode by commenting, “We’ve got more grandbabies on the way.” It shouldn’t be too long before Jim Bob and Michelle add to their growing list of grandchildren!
