Following reports alleging Meghan Markle and Prince Harry plan move to Africa, a new report claims the royal baby could make history depending on when its parents return from maternity leave.

Jet-setting from the UK to Africa would mark the royal baby’s first international trip, and depending on how old the child is at the time of the trip, it could beat Prince George’s travel record.

During a chat with ITV’s Lorraine Kelly, the Royal Editor for the Daily Mirror revealed Meghan and Prince Harry’s baby could become one of the youngest royals to travel internationally.

“Definitely Harry and Meghan have this really strong family unit. They’re talking about going to do conservation charity work in Africa,” he explained.

“Maybe they will move over there for four to six months at a time over the next couple of years,” Myers added.

When Kate Middleton and Prince William traveled to New Zealand with Prince George, the youngster was around eight months old. However, Harry was younger than his nephew when Prince Charles and Princess Diana took him to Venice, at five months old.

Meghan and Harry’s rumored trip to Africa will allegedly take place when the royal baby is just a few months old. “This new thing is that they might be doing a mini-tour over in the Autumn, but the baby would become a record-breaker. Because the baby will be about six months old at the time,” Myers stated.

For now, any news about the royal baby will be kept under wraps following Prince Harry and Meghan’s announcement stating their plans to keep the baby’s birth private until they have had time to properly bond with their new child.
