How Much Do The Bravo ‘Real Housewives’ Make? Tamra Judge’s Salary Revealed
At least one of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” is making a pretty penny for airing her dirty laundry on television. A public custody battle between one of the network’s long-standing stars, Tamra Judge, formerly Barney, and her ex-husband Simon Barney has revealed that “The Real Housewives of Orange County” lead rakes in more than half a million annually, Radar Online is reporting.
Judge, 46, reportedly earns roughly $600,000 per year. That information comes from her custody fight with Barney over their children, Sidney, 16, Spencer, 14, and Sophia, 8. Barney, a former "Real Housewives" star, reportedly filed the financial documents. While it’s unclear how much of Judge’s income comes directly from Bravo (she also co-owns Cut Fitness in Santa Margarita, California, with her current husband, Eddie Judge) but she isn’t the only “Real Housewives” star to cash in.
Emmy-winning soap opera actress Eileen Davidson has yet to premiere her spot on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” but she has already won the title of the “highest paid” new housewife. Radar Online reports that Davidson, best known for her roles on “The Young and the Restless" and “Days of Our Lives,” earned $750,000 for starring on the program’s fifth season.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Nene Leakes was unofficially named the franchise's highest-paid star in 2013 after reportedly scoring a $1 million contract with Bravo. After wrapping Season 6 of the explosive series in April, Leakes, 46, told Life & Style magazine she would seek a raise. “I haven’t asked for more money," said Leakes. "But I damn sure plan to!” Despite feigning resistance in signing on for a seventh season, Leakes reportedly agreed to reprise her role on the program in May.
Teresa Giudice of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is facing multiple fraud charges and possible jail time, but that doesn’t mean Bravo isn't still paying her the big bucks. Prior to the series' Season 6 premiere in July, Radar Online reported that Giudice, 42, was granted a $700,000 payday for starring on the show. Most of her salary was reportedly used to pay off her and her husband Joe Giudice's legal fees. Despite releasing four best-selling books and her own wine, Fabellini, a source told Radar that the New Jersey family is still strapped for cash. “The family has hardly any other income coming in,” said an insider. “Everyone knows that Teresa has been the sole breadwinner for some time.”
In 2013, OK! magazine reported that Bravo's “Real Housewives” stars typically make anywhere between $55,000 to $500,000 each season.
