Prince William and Prince Harry discovered Prince Charles’ affair with Camilla Parker Bowles in different ways.

The Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex were aware how bad their parents’ marriage was. In fact, they reportedly learned about their father’s infidelity to their mom Princess Diana in different ways.

Prince William was the first to discover about Prince Charles’ relationship with the Duchess of Cornwall. However, the way he found it out was not fit for a small child.

“William asked me what had been going on, and could I answer his questions, which I did. He said, was that the reason why our marriage had broken up? And I said, well, there were three of us in this marriage, and the pressure of the media was another factor, so the two together were very difficult,” Princess Diana confessed in her interview with Martin Bashir.

Princess Diana explained to Prince William that she still loved Prince Charles, but they couldn’t live under the same roof. The late Princess of Wales did not tell the same thing to Prince William’s younger brother, but he still learned about it anyway.

Prince William and Prince Harry were watching TV together when Camilla appeared on a show called “The Monarchy Debate.” On the show, the host asked the public if Camilla will ever be queen.

Prince Harry asked his older sibling who Camilla was. Prince William asked him back if he didn’t know her. Princess Diana’s friend Simone Simmons shared the same story in the 2017 Amazon Prime documentary “Diana: The Woman Inside.”

Princess Diana told her that it was how Prince Harry learned about Prince Charles and Camilla’s affair. However, before Prince William answered his younger brother’s question and before they could talk about the issue deeper, Princess Diana reminded her boys that it was time for bed.

At present, Prince William and Prince Harry have a great relationship with Camilla. In a past interview, Meghan Markle’s husband stressed that Camilla was not a wicked stepmother. He even described Camilla as a “wonderful woman” who made their father “very, very happy.” The royal father of one added that he and Prince William love Camilla to bits.
