How Princess Diana Connected With Prince Harry More With ‘Instant Reaction Through Emotion’

Princess Diana tried her best to raise both of her sons as equals, but she more similar to one of them as they got older.

Former royal chef Darren McGrady told Daily Mail that Princess Diana connected more with Prince Harry than Prince William because they share certain qualities with each other. Prince William, on the other hand, was more like Prince Charles because the heirs to the throne are both deep individuals.

“But Harry is like his mom, instant reaction through emotion. The boys are different like that… She always used to say, ‘William is deep like his dad and stubborn, and Harry is a hothead like me, he does the first thing that comes into his head… They will look after the heir and I will look after the spare,’” McGrady said.

The former royal chef went on to say that Prince Harry is really like his late mother, who had a very unique way of approaching things as a member of the royal family. Princess Diana did things because they were the right thing to do and not because she had to follow royal protocol.

“Harry is the same with Meghan, whereas William could be more, ‘What can we do here?’ and the advisors, or grey suits as Diana used to call them, would have advised him,” McGrady said.

When Princess Diana was still alive, she also witnessed one of her son’s heated feuds while in the car. Prince Harry told his older brother that he could do anything because he won’t be King one day.

The Princess of Wales’ former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, said that he and the other adults in the car had no idea where the comment came from. But it made them realize that Prince Harry had the awareness that he is just a spare and Prince William is the heir.

After Princess Diana died, Prince William and Prince Harry continued on with their lives but there are rumors suggesting that they feuding at the moment.
