How Scott Disick Really Feels About Filming With Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker: Report

Kourtney Kardashian and her now-husband Travis Barker put her ex Scott Disick in an "awkward position" on their reality series due to the couple's public displays of affection, according to a report.

It isn't a secret that Disick has had a hard time accepting Kardashian's relationship with Barker, especially after the couple's engagement in October 2021 made it clear that things were serious between them.

An unnamed source told Us Weekly that Disick had found it "awkward" filming the new Hulu reality series, "The Kardashians," with the loved-up pair and that the Talentless Clothing co-founder doesn't watch full episodes of the show to avoid reliving his onscreen moments with his ex and the Blink-182 drummer.

"Of course it’s awkward for Scott," the tipster said. "He doesn’t take the time to watch the full episodes, and why should he? He doesn’t need to. That’s the last thing he wants to do — relive the awkward moments of him, Travis and Kourtney. He lived through it already."

But while Disick got a "nice paycheck" after giving the Hulu cameras "what they wanted," the source said that it is still hard for him to be around his ex and her spouse.

"He turns away any time he’s around them and they’re making out," the insider added of Disick. "It’s embarrassing and Travis and Kourtney act like no one’s in the room whenever they’re together. Scott’s all about PDA but would never put any of his exes in such an awkward position."

Kardashian and Barker — who officially tied the knot in a ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, Sunday — appear to be unable to keep their hands off each other, making out on red carpets, at award shows and even in one of their wedding photos.

On Thursday's episode of "The Kardashians," the couple packed on the PDA in front of Disick at the Poosh founder's birthday party.

Kardashian said in the episode that she believes it is "not a bad thing" to be in the same room with Disick, noting that "It is a great first step for everyone and we will take time to figure out what makes sense."

Meanwhile, her sister, Khloe Kardashian, admitted that she and other members of their family felt awkward when Disick showed up at the party, but that they were trying to be respectful to everyone.

"It is so awkward for the other siblings involved. We don’t know what to do," Khloe said at the time. "We are all just trying to be respectful to each other’s new lives."

New episodes of "The Kardashians" are released on Hulu every Thursday.
