Scott Disick's Initial Reaction To Kourtney Kardashian's Engagement To Travis Barker Revealed

The latest episode of “The Kardashians” has revealed Scott Disick’s immediate reaction upon learning about Kourtney Kardashian’s engagement to Travis Barker.

In the episode, Disick was shown reaching out to Khloe Kardashian after the proposal, saying he’s no longer involved in the family.

The episode saw the Kardashian family gather at the venue of the surprise proposal before Barker and Kourtney were even there. At one point, Kim Kardashian told the family that Disick, who shares Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, with Kourtney, was “going to lose his f**king mind” when he learns about his ex’s engagement.

Kris Jenner also explained why she thought it was best not to include Kourtney and Disick’s children in the party. “For us to have to lie to Scott and get them here under false pretenses would’ve been really hard for all of us, so this is the right thing to do,” said Jenner.

The episode also showed Khloe recounting to her sisters how Disick came up to her after the engagement news and shared his feelings about Kourtney's engagement.

“You guys are gonna kick me out now. I’m not involved in the family,” she quoted Disick as saying. She added that Disick questioned why their kids were not there when all of Barker’s kids were present at the engagement party. According to Khloe, she simply told Disick that they were “too young” to witness the proposal.

Meanwhile, in a confessional, Kourtney said all she wanted was for Disick to accept her new relationship with Barker for the sake of their kids. “I think that it’s really important for Scott to be accepting of our relationship so that the kids can feel good,” she said.

“I’m sensitive to him and his feelings and I communicate with him about the kids and I make sure that he’s good, but beyond that, I just got engaged and I want to be happy and be in the moment. I just don’t think that this moment is about Scott,” she added.

In another scene, Khloe was shown paying a visit to Disick after the proposal to give him a basket of junk food. During their conversation, Disick told Khloe that he would always love Kourtney. He said, however, that he wasn’t completely surprised by the news of the proposal.

“I wasn’t caught off guard. I thought that they’d already be married based on the way that she was talking. It wasn’t crazy,” he said.
