Scott Disick Seemingly Reacts To Ex Sofia Richie's Engagement: 'Call Me Good Luck Chuck'
Scott Disick has seemingly reacted to the news of Sofia Richie's engagement. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of himself while making a subtle reference to the big news.
Hours after Sofia uploaded her engagement photos, Disick uploaded a snap of himself on a boat in Miami with the caption, "In the 305 just call me good luck chuck."
The caption seems to be a cheeky reference to the 2007 film "Good Luck Chuck," which stars Dane Cook as Charlie Kagan, a man whose former love interests end up marrying the person they date after him.
The post was quick to earn comments from his followers, who seemed to be amused by his humor. "Scott you are too funny, at least you're able to make a joke out of all of this," one fan wrote, while another commented, "There's the Scott Disick we all know and love."
While Disick's post may seem tongue-in-cheek, a source told US Magazine that the TV personality is happy for his ex. The tipster revealed, however, that he's still struggling to accept Kourtney Kardashian's engagement to Travis Barker earlier this year.
"Scott has moved on from Sofia," the source said, as per the outlet. "It's been almost two years since they broke up. He would be happy for her and just wish her well. He's not heartbroken over this, that's for sure. He's way more heartbroken over Kourtney's engagement to Travis."
Sofia, daughter of veteran singer Lionel Richie, created a buzz Wednesday when she posted photos from her engagement to music executive Elliot Grainge. The first snap shows her fiancé getting down on one knee with Sofia seemingly shocked by the proposal. "Forever isn't long enough," she captioned her post.
Grainge also posted an image of their engagement on his account, showing them lovingly embracing one another after he popped the question. The photo also shows Sofia's engagement ring on full display.
Sofia dated Grainge after her split from Disick in July 2020. The former couple was together for three years.
